Spaghetti bolognese

This is THE traditional Italian dish. I know there exist already thousands of recipes with all kinds of variations. I will post my favourite one here. It’s for 4 persons:

  • 400 g ground meat
  • 3 small tomatoes
  • tomate sauce
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 400 g spaghetti
  • parmesan cheese

  1. Dice the the tomatoes, onion and garlic  into small pieces. Stew the onion and garlic with some olive oil in a pan. Add the ground meat and crush it into small pieces with a turner.
  2. Put a pot on the oven and wait until the water is boiling before you add salt and the spaghetti. Boil until the spaghetti are “al-dente” (~10 min.)
  3. While the spaghetti are boiling at the tomate sauce to the meat and season with a teaspoon of mustard. Add the tomatoes and some water until you like the texture of the sauce. Season with some salt, pepper and if you like some chili.
  4. Grate the parmesan.
  5. You can either mix the spaghetti and sauce in a big bowl or serve individually. Decorate with parmesan cheese. Serve while still hot.
